Land title is an intangible document representing a set of rights to a property in which a party may hold either a legal or equitable interest.

What is a land title for?  ?

The land title serves, among other things, to authenticate the existence of the property rights of a natural person or a legal entity over a plot of land, and also protects minor heirs against the squandering of the deceased's property.

How to get a land title in Mali?

To obtain a land title, you must submit a file to the land registry and land registry service including: a stamped request addressed to the Regional Director of Land Registry and Land Registry, a copy of the deed of ownership of the plot, a copy of your valid Identity Card , an extract from the location plan of the plot, a requisition letter, the stamp duty and 2 identity photos of the applicant.

Where to file land title registration documents  ?

Your document is sent to the Head of Land Conservation for investigation. This sends a correspondence accompanied by a copy of the property title to the Director of Urban Planning for opinion as responsible for the urbanization plan in order to proceed with the division of your plot.
